Aaand home run. That is it. Done. Finito!
It is Friday the 12th of November, and I have officially completed this project without skipping a single day. I’d like to say it feels like a big accomplishment, but it really doesn’t. It does feel good to have sat it through to the end, though. Considering my problems with finishing any sort of project, at least that is something.
I’m grateful to have had people check back every day, whether or not through obnoxious daily Twitter/Facebook posts (which won’t be cluttering up your feed anymore from now on, rejoice!). An ever so humble thanks goes out to everyone who checked back at any regularity for providing me with the motivation to skulk around with my camera every day.
The photos here haven’t always been great, but they’ve been here. More importantly, I’ve learned a few lessons in the process of looking for things to fill my entries with. I’ve learned that I desperately need to learn to step outside of my comfort zone more often, and that I haven’t even begun to see how much is left to learn outside of my little box. I’m just not sure how fast I will truly learn that lesson, or with what difficulty I will take those words for truth.
But one thing’s sure– no longer do I have to utter the dreaded “Oh crap, I still have to take a picture” at the end of most days, and that alone is worthy of celebration.
Good night, my freaky darlings, and let this be a lesson– if I could do it, surely anyone could.
(If for some bizarre reason you’d like to see what I’ll be working on in the future, you can always visit or bookmark my main blog, which I will keep updated to the best of my abilities.)
