An early update today – it’s kind of nice to have it out of the way before noon.

I’ve been waking up early lately, between four and six. I didn’t even look at the clock when I got up today, and spent nearly five hours in the dark feeling sorry for myself before finally opening the curtains. What the– snow! Not a lot of it, but more than enough to cover the sidewalk! My mood lifted immediately, even if it dropped again once I was reminded of how notoriously not watertight chucks are.

Leia has been refusing to go outside ever since she spotted the abundance of white stuff. I don’t remember her ever being afraid of it before. Weird cat.
